Direct To Garment or Digital Garment printing on light and dark fabrics.

DTG is the latest technology in fabric printing. It is printing an image directly onto a garment or fabric without needing any positive films, screens, set up, .....  or anything else that is required for screen printing.

The ECO friendly water based ink is printed directly onto fabric which results in exceptional “soft feel” print as well as offering more flexibility than screen-printing in terms of color variation, turn-around time (especially for smaller orders). The higher the quality of your image / design means the better the outcome.

Beware that there are many ordinary paper printers modified to print on fabric but only the printers that are made for garment printing would produce quality prints and just like any other equipment in the market, there are low quality and high quality ones and we have chosen the best in the industry to guarantee your satisfaction.

DTG Garments:
printers are made to print on 100% cotton fabric. The more mix in your fabric, the more fade out / washed out look you will get . Although some people like this outcome, they say it is a nostalgic look. We print on any fabric other (Tri-Blend, 50/50, Burnout, ...) other than 100% polyester such as sport jerseys.

DTG files:
Files have to be
* 200 DPI or higher resolution
* To the size that you want them to be printed
* Transparent background. (for color shirts) Scroll down to see the picture of the dog on a black shirt.

DTG on WHITE garments:
Although any format would do the job as long as the file is CMYK, yet the better the resolution, the better the outcome.
With this printer, any full color image can be printed on a white fabric without needing a white base since the fabric is white. (Imagine painting a white wall, you would not need a white under base). This machine can be used for priming on very light color fabric as well (see images of Texas state). The only issue is that the color of the fabric will change the tone of colors in your design, also the white area of your design will be the color of the fabric. The darker the fabric, the less you'll see true colors therefore we recommend using DTG on dark (a white under base) for color fabrics to show your design in its best possible way.

DTG on COLOR garments:
Any light color ink on a dark color fabric requires a white under base. We have the best DTG printer on color shirts since it sprays 3 layers white under base before printing the colors.
The general rule of DTG printing is that if the image looks good when printed at the size that you like using your office / home printer, then it will look good on a shirt. In short, the higher the quality of your image/design, the better the outcome.

DTG Printer prints anything that is in the image, especially the white background of a pictures that you may not want to be printed. Your file MUST be CMYK, Minimum 200 DPI, Transparent Background (Photoshop or Illustrator) to the size that you want it to be printed.
See the picture of the dog below to see what we mean by Transparent Background.

     2- What color shirt.
     3- How many Shirts
Standard print area is 14" Width by 16" height. Extended print area of 14" X 18" at extra cost.
